नमस्कार मेरे प्यारे भाइयों और बहनों आप सभी को मेरा नमन। साथियों आज हमलोग इस पोस्ट के माध्यम से बिहार बोर्ड कक्षा 5th के अंग्रेजी बुक के Chapter - 8 "Birbal's Wit" (बीरबल की बुद्धि) के प्रत्येक पंक्ति के व्याख्या को देखेंगे, पढ़ेंगे तथा सभी के प्रश्न - उत्तर जानेंगे।

SCENE 1: THE PALACE GARDEN
(दृश्य 1: महल का बगीचा)
(Akbar and some of his courtiers are looking at the roses.)
(अकबर और उसके कुछ दरबारी गुलाबों को देख रहे हैं।)
AKBAR: Where's Birbal? I have not seen him since this morning.
अकबर: बीरबल कहाँ है? मैंने उसे आज सुबह से नहीं देखा है।
FIRST LORD: We, too, have not seen him, Badshah Salamat. The messenger came back saying he had gone out-very busy counting crows. (smiling)
प्रथम प्रभु: हमने भी उसे नहीं देखा, बादशाह सलामत। दूत वापस आया और बताया कि वह बाहर गया था - कौवे गिनने में बहुत व्यस्त था। (मुस्कुराते हुए)
AKBAR (also smiling): Well, so he's taken the challenge seriously. Do none of you wish to compete for the prize?
अकबर (मुस्कुराते हुए): अच्छा, तो उसने चुनौती को गंभीरता से लिया है। क्या आपमें से कोई भी पुरस्कार के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा नहीं करना चाहता?
SECOND LORD: We accept our defeat, sir. What you set was an impossible task. We tried and gave up!
द्वितीय प्रभु: हम अपनी हार स्वीकार करते हैं, सर। आपने जो काम निर्धारित किया था वह असंभव था। हमने कोशिश की और हार मान ली!
RAJA MAN SINGH: Did you really expect an answer, Your Highness, or was it a joke?
राजा मान सिंह: महाराज, क्या आपको सचमुच उत्तर की उम्मीद थी या यह एक मजाक था?
AKBAR: Man Singh, wait and see. We have set seven o'clock as the deadline. There is at least an hour left. 3000 gold coins and bag of precious jewels are not to be sneezed at! I'm sure thousands of people in the capital are out counting the crows! (trying to hide his laughter)
अकबर: मान सिंह, रुको और देखो। हमने सात बजे की समय-सीमा तय की है। कम से कम एक घंटा बचा है। 3000 सोने के सिक्के और कीमती रत्नों से भरा बैग किसी भी कीमत पर बेकार नहीं जाएगा! मुझे यकीन है कि राजधानी में हजारों लोग कौवे गिन रहे होंगे! (अपनी हंसी छिपाने की कोशिश करते हुए)
(After an hour...)
(एक घंटे बाद...)
AKBAR (re-entering the garden) The time's up. How many want to win the prize? Open the gate and let us see how many have their answers ready!
अकबर (बगीचे में फिर से प्रवेश करते हुए) समय समाप्त हो गया है। कितने लोग पुरस्कार जीतना चाहते हैं? गेट खोलो और देखते हैं कि कितने लोगों के पास अपने उत्तर तैयार हैं!
FIRST LORD: There is no one outside the gate, Badshah Salamat.
प्रथम प्रभु: बादशाह सलामत, फाटक के बाहर कोई नहीं है।
AKBAR: No one? Not even one person has taken up the challenge? I am disappointed!
अकबर: कोई नहीं? एक भी व्यक्ति ने चुनौती स्वीकार नहीं की? मैं निराश हूँ!
SECOND LORD: Wait, Sir! Someone is hurrying in. Why, it's Birbal!
दूसरे भगवान: रुको, सर! कोई जल्दी से अंदर आ रहा है। अरे, यह बीरबल है!
AKBAR: Ha! Ha! Ha! (delighted) Welcome, Birbal. (smiling) I guess you too have no answer! Was the prize too small to tempt you?
अकबर: हा! हा! हा! (खुश होकर) स्वागत है, बीरबल। (मुस्कुराते हुए) मुझे लगता है कि आपके पास भी कोई जवाब नहीं है! क्या इनाम इतना छोटा था कि आप ललचा नहीं गए?
BIRBAL: Badshah Salamat a challenge is a challenge. The amount of the prize does not matter. And I have the exact answer. The number of the crows in the capital at six o'clock today is 21,412 exactly! (with a flourish)
बीरबल: बादशाह सलामत, चुनौती तो चुनौती ही होती है। पुरस्कार की राशि मायने नहीं रखती। और मेरे पास इसका सटीक उत्तर है। आज शाम छह बजे राजधानी में कौओं की संख्या ठीक 21,412 है! (खुश होकर)
AKBAR: (stunned and not really believing him) Shall we check?
अकबर: (हैरान और सचमुच उस पर विश्वास न करते हुए) क्या हम जाँच करें?
BIRBAL: Certainly, Badshah Salamat! (pretending to be very serious) Of course some crows may have left the city to visit their relatives in another town.
बीरबल : अवश्य, बादशाह सलामत! (बहुत गंभीर होने का नाटक करते हुए) अवश्य ही कुछ कौवे शहर छोड़कर दूसरे शहर में अपने रिश्तेदारों से मिलने चले गए होंगे।
But then it is also likely some others may have flown in for the weekend. I am absolutely certain, however, that at the last count, at six o'clock, there were 21,412 crows exactly!
लेकिन फिर यह भी संभव है कि कुछ अन्य लोग सप्ताहांत के लिए उड़ान भरकर आए हों। हालाँकि, मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि आखिरी गिनती में, छह बजे, ठीक 21,412 कौवे थे!
AKBAR (laughing as he does at all Birbal's clever answers) Birbal, you are the life of this court. Bring the prize!
