In the cold region near me northern most part of the world, was summer time. Everyone there looked forward to summer after the horribly cold winter.
दुनिया के सबसे उत्तरी हिस्से में मेरे नज़दीक ठंडे इलाके में गर्मी का मौसम था। वहाँ हर कोई भयंकर सर्दी के बाद गर्मियों का इंतज़ार कर रहा था।
The sun shone brightly and all the creatures were happy. The grasshopper was relaxing and playing music happily. He was content to play music and sit in the sun.
सूरज चमक रहा था और सभी जीव खुश थे। टिड्डा आराम कर रहा था और खुशी से संगीत बजा रहा था। वह संगीत बजाने और धूप में बैठने से संतुष्ट था।
The ant kept scurrying up and down, carrying grains of wheat. She looked tired and hot. She must have worked for a long time.
चींटी गेहूँ के दाने लेकर इधर-उधर भागती रही। वह थकी हुई और गर्म लग रही थी। उसने शायद बहुत देर तक काम किया होगा।
"Why are you bustling about in this weather?" the grasshopper asked the ant.
"तुम इस मौसम में क्यों इधर-उधर भाग रही हो?" टिड्डे ने चींटी से पूछा।
"I'm preparing for winter when there will be less food And I think you should do so too!" The ant replied.
"मैं सर्दियों की तैयारी कर रही हूँ जब भोजन कम होगा और मुझे लगता है कि आपको भी ऐसा करना चाहिए!" चींटी ने जवाब दिया।
The grasshopper ignored the advice of the ant. After the severe winter, the sun was perfect. The grasshopper was enjoying the sunshine far too much to start collecting food for the winter So he lay on the warm grass and began to play his music again.
टिड्डे ने चींटी की सलाह को नज़रअंदाज़ कर दिया। भीषण सर्दी के बाद, सूरज एकदम सही था। टिड्डा धूप का इतना आनंद ले रहा था कि सर्दियों के लिए भोजन इकट्ठा करना शुरू नहीं कर पा रहा था, इसलिए वह गर्म घास पर लेट गया और फिर से अपना संगीत बजाना शुरू कर दिया।
Soon the winter came. The grass was cold and frosty, and the wind howled across the fields. The ant was sleeping happily in her home because her larder was full of corn and wheat. She knew that she had enough food to last the entire winter.
